Welcome to the Green Sustainable Industry (GSI) Program. We are dedicated to supporting industries in Egypt transition towards a greener, more sustainable future.
GSI, an initiative of the Ministry of Environment aims to support industries to reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions, enhance performance, reduce resource consumption, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Overall budget is EUR 271 million with EUR 210 million of funding from partners such as the European Union, European Investment Bank (EIB), and Agence Française de Développement (AFD).

We are committed to driving impactful change from 2025 to 2030.

GSI Program

The Green Sustainable Industry (GSI) Program supports industry transition to a green economy in Egypt. Building upon the successes of the Egyptian Pollution Abatement Program (EPAP), GSI is dedicated to supporting industries in improving performance, reducing pollution, decarbonizing and embracing sustainable practices. With a focus on innovation and collaboration, GSI strives to be a catalyst for positive change, driving economic growth while safeguarding our environment for future generations.
